Photo-Therapy

In 1903, Niels Finsen won the Nobel Prize in Medicine for using light to treat diseases. This is now called "phototherapy."

Back then, lamps were simple and used mercury gas to make light.

Later, new UVB lamps were made. They gave off 312 nanometer light and were called narrowband UVB. These lamps led to the opening of thousands of clinics to treat skin problems like psoriasis.

Now, with new LED technology, we made even better lamps than the 312 nanometer ones. Our lamps can treat the whole body with one small, low-cost, hand-held device.

We have made and sold 11,000 phototherapy lamps on eBay over the past 25 years. Today, we sell them here on this website.
